Description
Wasatch Mountain State Park, in beautiful Heber Valley, is both a summer and winter destination. Soldier Hollow, the 2002 Olympic winter venue is located at the park's south end, and is open year-round for summer and winter activities, including biathlon, cross-countryskiing, tubing, mountain biking, and hiking.
Geography:
The park offers two historic areas, Historic Tate Barn and Huber Grove. Tate Barn stands as a sentry at the southern end of the park. It is an important architectural landmark and a symbol for the Heber Valley. Visitors may also enjoy the Huber Grove, which features the Huber Farmhouse and Creamery.
Recreation:
The 36-hole golf course has won numerous local and national awards for its good play and excellent course conditions. Golf, camping, picnicking, hiking, and horseback riding are popular warm weather activities. Winter brings snowmobilers, snowshoers, and cross-country skiers.
Facilities:
The Cottonwood loop has sites with full hookups and sites with water and power only. Mahogany loop is all full hook-ups. Oak Hollow has electricity and water only. Tents are only allowed where indicated. All loops have restrooms with showers.

- Cancellations are accepted online 24 hours a day, seven days a week or by calling the Reservation Call Center Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Mountain Time)
Individual site cancellations made four days or more in advance of your scheduled arrival incur an $8 cancellation fee in addition to the $8 reservation fee. Cancellations made less than four days in advance forfeit one night's fee in addition to the cancellation and reservation fees.
Group area cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of your scheduled arrival incur an $8 cancellation fee in addition to the $10.25 reservation fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance forfeit one night's fee in addition to the cancellation and reservation fees.
Changes to an existing reservation can only be made by contacting the Reservation Call Center. Changes can be made up to two days prior to your scheduled arrival date and incur a $5 change fee per site.

Directions to Cottonwood, Mahogany, Oak Hollow, Springer Hollow Pavilion, Miner's Retreat Pavilion and Cabins:
From SLC - Take 1-80 East towards Cheyenne. (24 miles) Take the US - 40 (Exit 146) towards Heber/Vernal. Travel approximately 15 miles until you come to a stoplight. Turn RIGHT on River Road. At the round-a-bout, take the 2nd exit on 1050 North Burgi Lane. Travel until you can veer RIGHT to Pine Canyon Road, follow to stop sign. Go straight and take the second LEFT to the campground.
From Provo - Take US 189 North towards Heber City. (Approximately 22 miles) After the Deer Creek Reservoir, turn LEFT onto HWY 113. Follow the road for a few miles until you come to a stop sign. (Main Street) Turn LEFT, go to next stop sign and turn RIGHT. Follow .2 miles, turning LEFT at 200 North. Road will bend RIGHT and become Homestead Drive, follow approximately 2 miles. Road then bends to the LEFT and becomes Snake Creek Road. Turn RIGHT on Warms Springs Road. Follow this road and take your second LEFT into the campground.
