Annual Bison Roundup (Range Ride - Not a Tour)

Permit Description
Saturday October 26, 2019 will be the main push to move bison from the southern portion of the island to the handling facilities on the north end of the island. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m.. Sunday, any bison left on the range will be moved to the handling facilities. Please be aware that in recent years all the animals have been rounded up the first day.
You must provide your own horse to participate in the bison roundup range ride. Only registered riders may participate in the range ride. Riders must be at least 18 years of age.
Rider registration fee is $50 per person. The registration fee includes the roundup range ride, souvenir bandana, and the chili dinner on Saturday evening.
For those wishing to camp at the Fielding Garr Ranch, you may check-in Thursday, October 24, 2019. The overnight camping fee is $40 per vehicle. This fee pays for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
No registrations will be accepted after October 9, 2019. If not registered by that date, you will not be allowed to participate in the range ride. No exceptions.
Cancellations made on or before October 7, 2019 will be issued a full refund. Refunds will be made by crediting the same credit card. No refunds will be given after October 7, 2019. To request a refund, email antelopeisland@utah.gov

* Event tickets and waivers will be mailed to the address provided. You will not be admitted to the event without your ticket.
Directions
Take Interstate 15 to Exit 332 (Antelope Drive). Turn west onto Antelope Drive and drive seven miles to the entrance gate. A two-lane causeway spans from mainland to island. At the end of the causeway, stay to the left, and follow the signs to the historic ranch.
