Permit Description
Enjoy a fall day of picking apples in the historic apple orchard of the Huber Family at Wasatch Mountain State Park. The apple trees were planted in the 1890s and have been producing apples ever since. If you like sweet apple sauce make your reservation in Aug or early Sept to pick Yellow Transparent apples. If you like tart apples for pies and cobbler make your reservation for Sept to pick Red Astrachan apples. The Huber apples are organic heirloom apples. The orchard is open for picking (depending on the crop) from mid Aug to mid Sept.

Important Information
The Huber Apple Orchard is over 120 years old and still producing apples. Please be respectful of these historic trees so we can provide a sustainable community event for years to come.
1 ticket = up to 8 people 10 yrs and older.
Reservations required for picking apples.
Groups are allowed to have more than 8 people if they are under 10 years of age.
You are only allowed to pick 2 baskets of apples per reservation.
The park will supply 2 baskets and 2 apple pickers per reservation.
You will have 2 hour to pick apples.
Bring your own bags to take apples home in. Return baskets to staff when finished.
No ladders and no climbing trees allowed.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
The annual apple harvest may be canceled at any time due to low production of apples.
Refunds will be available if we have to cancel it (minus $2.00 processing fee).
Please print this confirmation letter. It is your permit to park at the Huber Grove.

Directions
From SLC: Take I-80 East towards Cheyenne (24miles). Take US-40 Heber/Vernal exit. Travel approx 15 miles until you come to a stop light. Turn right on River Road. Follow to a roundabout and take the 2nd exit right onto 1050 North Burgi Lane. Follow until you come to a stop sign. Turn right onto Homestead Drive. The road will bend left and become Snake Creek Road. Drive past Wasatch Mountain State Park Visitor Center for about 1 mile to the Huber Grove Historical Site on the right. Parking is available behind the orchard.
From Provo: Take US 189 North toward Heber City (approx. 22 miles). Right after Deer Creek Reservoir turn left on Hwy 113. Follow for a few miles until you come to a stop sign (Main Street). Turn left and follow to next stop sign. Turn right and follow .2 miles turning left at 200 North. Road will bend right and become Homestead Drive, follow approx. 2 miles. Road then bends to the left and becomes Snake Creek Road. Drive past Wasatch Mountain State Park Visitor Center for about 1 mile to the Huber Grove Historical Site on the right. Parking is available behind the orchard.
