Green River State Park is an oasis on the banks of the Green River where tall cottonwood trees shade well manicured lawns.
The park is a favorite starting point for river trips through Labyrinth and Stillwater canyons and is a good base for seeing much of southeastern Utah. The park offers a beautiful nine-hole golf course along the river.
Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef National Parks; Dead Horse Point and Goblin Valley state parks; Lake Powell; the San Rafael Swell; and Horseshoe Canyon, are all within a two-hour drive of the park.
